Migrate Analog Phone Systems to Cloud PBX or IP PBX

SIPPER helps organizations migrate Analog phone systems to Cloud PBX or IP PBX, with hybrid Analog+IP support and VoIP Gateway integration. End-to-end service from site survey to design, deployment, number porting, training, and ongoing support.

ANALOG TO IP MIGRATION

Full migration or hybrid Analog + IP

SIPPER designs and executes phone system migrations from Analog to Cloud PBX (Yeastar P-Series) or on-premise IP PBX, with hybrid integration via VoIP Gateway (Yeastar TA, Dinstar DAG, Grandstream GXW / HT).

Zero downtime guaranteed, keep your existing DID, hotline, and fax numbers. Migration is planned around your business hours to minimize disruption.

Analog Pain Points

Why migrate from Analog phone systems

Analog PBX systems served businesses for decades but are now becoming a burden, high maintenance costs, hard to scale, and not compatible with modern work styles.

Why 01 / Cost

High maintenance, scarce parts

Spare parts for legacy PBX systems like Panasonic KX, NEC SL1000, and Siemens HiPath are increasingly scarce and expensive. Skilled technicians for old systems are also rare. Each repair can cost more than a complete new system.

Why 02 / Mobility

No remote work / WFH support

Analog phones are tied to desks. Cannot answer calls outside the office. Cloud PBX lets staff make and receive calls from anywhere, mobile, laptop, or home, using the same extension number.

Why 03 / Scale

Hard to scale, no CRM integration

Adding extensions in Analog systems requires new wiring. Modern IP PBX adds extensions instantly and integrates with CRM, Microsoft Teams, call recording, and analytics.

3 Migration Paths and VoIP Gateways

Choose the right migration path and gateway

SIPPER offers 3 migration approaches, from full system replacement to gradual phased rollout, with support for 3 major VoIP gateway brands.

Full Migration (Analog → Cloud PBX / IP PBX)

Replace the entire system from Analog to Cloud PBX (Yeastar P-Series on SIPPER Pure VoIP Network) or on-premise IP PBX. All extensions become IP phones or softphones. SIPPER manages number porting, cutover planning, and zero-downtime migration.

Hybrid (Analog + IP together)

Keep working Analog phones and connect them to the IP PBX via VoIP Gateway. Migrate floor by floor, department by department, at your own pace. Ideal for organizations with healthy existing Analog equipment.

SIP Trunk on Analog PBX

Keep your existing Analog PBX but switch trunks from ISDN / E1 / Analog to SIP Trunk via VoIP Gateway. Cut call costs immediately without changing phones or workflows. Suitable for organizations not yet ready for full migration.

Yeastar TA Series Gateway

FXS Gateway (TA400 / TA800 / TA1600 / TA2400 / TA3200) and FXO Gateway (TA410 / TA810 / TA1610 / TA3210). Perfect integration with Yeastar P-Series PBX. Supports auto-provisioning and centralized management.

Dinstar DAG Series Gateway

FXS (2 to 312 ports), FXO (2 to 16 ports), and hybrid gateways. Cost-effective for projects requiring high port counts. Compatible with Yeastar, 3CX, Asterisk, Cisco, and Avaya. Power failover for business continuity.

Grandstream GXW / HT Series

Compact gateways for offices: GXW4216 (16 FXS), GXW4232 (32 FXS), HT812 / HT814 (2 to 4 FXS). Affordable with proven SIP compatibility.

Who is it for

Organizations that should migrate

Businesses on legacy Analog PBX facing cost, scaling, or remote work challenges.

Ready for full system replacement

Organizations with very old PBX, scarce parts, or expanding to a new office. Full migration to Cloud PBX in one go is more cost-effective than repairing legacy systems.

Healthy Analog equipment to preserve

Have hundreds of working Analog phones. Want IP PBX features without abandoning existing equipment. Hybrid migration is ideal, phase out floor by floor.

Not ready to change systems

Just want to reduce call costs without touching the PBX or phones. Use SIP Trunk on Analog PBX via VoIP Gateway. Immediate cost reduction without workflow disruption.

Migration Process

How SIPPER migrates phone systems

A clear 5-step process that guarantees zero downtime and minimizes disruption to daily operations.

Step 1: Site Survey

SIPPER engineers visit and survey the existing Analog PBX. Count extensions, trunk lines, fax, paging, and special equipment. Document the phone number map and full call flow paths.

Step 2: Solution Design

Design the target system, Cloud PBX or IP PBX, SIP Trunk, VoIP Gateway configuration, suitable IP phones, network readiness, and cutover plan.

Step 3: Implementation and Test

Pre-configure all equipment at SIPPER office, then deploy on-site. Connect VoIP Gateway, port numbers, and run end-to-end testing before cutover.

Step 4: Staff Training

Train receptionists, admins, and IT on the new system, calling, transfers, voicemail, mobile app, and PBX admin portal.

Step 5: Ongoing Support

SIPPER provides continuous managed support, PBX configuration changes, VoIP Gateway monitoring, SIP Trunk management, and 8x5 helpdesk. One number for all voice issues.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Analog to IP migration

For offices with 50 to 100 extensions, typically 2 to 4 weeks: 1 week for survey and design, 1 week for procurement, 1 to 2 weeks for installation and cutover. Larger or multi-site organizations may take 4 to 8 weeks. SIPPER plans cutover during after-hours to minimize disruption.

No. SIPPER manages number porting from your current provider to SIPPER SIP Trunk. All DID numbers, hotlines, and fax numbers stay the same. Porting takes 3 to 5 business days, planned with zero downtime.

Yes. VoIP Gateways (e.g. Yeastar TA800 or Dinstar DAG1000) convert Analog signals to SIP. Existing Analog phones plug into the gateway and register as SIP extensions on the IP PBX. Users on Analog and IP sides call each other normally, no perceptible difference.

A VoIP Gateway is a device that converts Analog voice signals (FXS / FXO) to digital SIP / IP. Required when (1) keeping existing Analog phones in a hybrid setup (2) connecting PSTN Analog trunks to the IP PBX (3) integrating fax, paging systems, or elevator phones that only work on Analog.

Depends on extension count, migration approach, and platform. Example: Full Migration of 20 extensions to Cloud PBX starts around 80,000 to 120,000 THB (one-time) plus monthly service fee 5,000 to 10,000 THB. Hybrid migration with VoIP Gateway starts from 30,000 THB for the gateway alone. SIPPER provides detailed quotes after site survey.
